Community

In 2001 we established the His First Foundation to support our employees’ passions and charitable efforts in the areas of faith, secular good works and acts of kindness. The Foundation is funded annually by MH Equipment through a contribution of 10% of the company’s earnings and supports:

• Non-denominational organizations who share the love of Jesus Christ as well as meeting the physical needs of people in His Name.
• Organizations that perform "good works" for a community whose values are consistent with those of the Foundation.
• Aiding suffering people in need due to circumstances out of their control.

MH Equipment encourages all employees to get involved in their communities and celebrates their involvement by using the His First Foundation to financially supporting their efforts. Our employees have been passionate about causes such as running marathons to support the Cincinnati Association for the Blind, the Iowa Special Olympics, and Make A Wish Foundation's Walk For Wishes.

(All requests for donations from MH Equipment must come through an MH employee who has a passion for that organization.)

In addition to sponsoring employees in the charities they're passionate about, we also have four corporate charities our employees can use payroll deductions to support. The Foundation happily matches all employee donations. These four charities are the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Tree Of Life Ministry, The Salvation Army, and Samaritan's Purse.
