During the recent Battle of the Branches, MH vs. Hunger, the team in Louisville took a different approach to make the most of their donations through the MH Equipment Louisville food pantry fundraiser. Donna Petty, Service Coordinator, championed a fundraising effort for Dare to Care Food Bank as part of our Louisville branch community giving initiative, boosting local charity support Louisville families rely on. Because of their purchasing power, Dare to Care was able to turn every quarter donated into a dollars worth of food!
In addition to providing food to hundreds of emergency kitchens, shelters and food pantries, Dare to Care operates several programs targeting the most vulnerable in the community. Last year Dare to Care distributed food for 13 million meals to those in need in the 13 county Kentuckiana service area.
In addition to the 200 food items donated, the Louisville branch also contributed $810.00 dollars, or $3240.00 “Dare to Care dollars” to help increase food bank donations KY organizations desperately need.

Under the tremendous leadership of the amazing Ms. Petty, we feel that indeed we pulled together to support a very worthy cause and made a difference as part of our ongoing material handling community outreach.”
