Technician Responsibilities:
Maintain, diagnose, and repair batteries, chargers and other identified products.
Making a standard battery an ORC battery by adding second cable (POS & NEG) and thermistor to unit.
Growth within the OEM battery manufacturing development of new power sources, with training available.
Most of the time must be spent on performing actual repairs/watering
PM/Inspect small equipment
Ensure we have the proper maintenance programs in place at customer location.
Technician Requirements:
Technical background knowledge.
Must have a good driving record in order to drive company service vehicle.
Must have own tools
Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Hours will typically be 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. However, a schedule of 4 – 10 hour days is also possible. Occasional overtime may be required. This is an hourly, non-exempt position.
